Up For Adoption: The Drama of the Gifted Child is the final iteration in a three-part exhibition at PARMER.

Central to the exhibition are three sculptures that diagram a set of art-market relations, collapsing the psychodrama of the auction house with that of the family and child-production. The viewer is returned to the scene of transitional-object investments of early childhood - a developmental setting in which the narcissistically-cathected “gifted child” is both artist, collector and artwork.
