Three sculptures constructed from trade-show-kit materials are animated through projected fields of shifting color. Corporate trade-show glamour, now bereft of meaning and message, infuses a scene where the styling of the “temporary special event” falls apart. Drained of anything to sell, the anthropomorphized sculptures continuously project fleshy, bodily colors. The viewer is left to wander a scene in which hierarchy has been reversed: objects communicate amongst each other irrespective of the viewers whose desires produced them.
